Ever wonder how momma's do it all? Time Management. Seriously. Time Management. Want to see what a day in my life looks like? Well here it is!

First off, I should start by saying there is one key word that makes this all happen - PLANNING! Get yourself a calendar. The kind that makes you write it out. Studies have shown that writing out your daily tasks and dreams and life really is what makes it happen. So go to the store or find a great one like this on Amazon. It will be life changing.
Ok so you gotta plan. I typically sit down every Sunday night and plan my/our week. When dealing with 2 littles, the calendar has to be up to date. And because the hubby likes things electronically, I also put them in my phone with him invited to all the events (that includes doctor appts, "school" , play-dates, etc.). It is a big pain to do both, but it really makes both our lives easier. I have my planner, he has his phone - we both know what is going on that week/month. So Sunday - plan out the week. And I mean schedule EVERYTHING. Grocery shopping, "school", me time, errands, personal development time, PLAY TIME, nap time, lunch, work time - EVERYTHING! I even schedule in a relax time each day and a relax day each week where we don't leave the house. This is some much needed downtime for the kiddos. I also schedule play with the kiddos time - I want to make sure that as I grow an amazing business I'm still putting my kiddos first. That is why I'm doing this anyways, right?!? Now that your week is scheduled, I just leave my planner out on the island in the kitchen. Every morning as I make coffee and begin to start breakfast, I give it a look over. It reminds me of what is happening that day. Sometimes I do it the night before, but I've also found that if I do at night, I tend to not sleep well. Mostly because I want to start working on tomorrows tasks. This is what my day typically looks like:
Hopefully this helps you understand that you can still grow a business while staying home with your kiddos. For me, nap time rules and I can seriously get more done in those 2 hours than if I am randomly on my phone all day. What planner do you use? ~Leslie
